Lawyer Dr. Michael Gross has a significant amount of experience in the fields of license agreements (over 16,000 license contracts since 1988), research and development agreements, and European (block exemption regulations for license agreements and for research & development agreements) and German antitrust law. He is registered as an arbitrator for the aforementioned fields with the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS) in Bonn, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Munich and Upper Bavaria, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris, the German Association of Law and Informatics in Karlsruhe, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, the FICCI Arbitration and Conciliation Tribunal in New Delhi, India [also registered as a mediator with WIPO, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Munich and Upper Bavaria, the Munich Bar Association (Rechtsanwaltskammer München), EUCON (European Institute for Conflict Management, Munich)]. Dr. Gross is a registered conciliator with the German Association of Law and Informatics (DGRI) in Berlin. His additional experience includes assessment of damages for infringement courts and a study for the EU commission in 1995- Block Exemption Regulation No. 240/96 (EC) for technology transfer agreements. He also contributed to the model license agreement between the People's Republic of China and the Federal Republic of Germany (German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology), 1996 - 2003.
